Code generated by powertools - filenames are too long #12243

When generating powertools code, especially master details code, it results in controller names (and hance view names and js names) that are too long.

It works ok locally but when I try to deploy to azure I get a lot of cannot copy messages.

Any ideas? If powertools insists on doing this is there a guide on how to shorten the names safely without introducing bugs?

Hi @philipcj,

You can manually override the file templates, but I don't recommend it. I will open an issue about it.
