    Hi @balikpinoy

    According to the log you shared, the extension is currently configured to support only the Visual Studio Community edition. That’s why it cannot be installed on Visual Studio Professional 2022.

    As a temporary workaround, you can manually edit the .vsix file to add support for the Professional edition. Here are the steps:

    1. Rename the .vsix file to .zip and extract it.
    2. Open the extension.vsixmanifest file.
    3. Locate the following line: 
       <InstallationTarget Id="Microsoft.VisualStudio.Community" Version="[17.0,18.0)">
   <ProductArchitecture>amd64</ProductArchitecture>
 </InstallationTarget>
    4. Add this line right below it: 
       <InstallationTarget Id="Microsoft.VisualStudio.Pro" Version="[17.0,18.0)">
   <ProductArchitecture>amd64</ProductArchitecture>
 </InstallationTarget>
    5. Zip the files again, rename it back to .vsix, and try the installation.

    We’ll also update the extension to officially support Visual Studio Professional in the upcoming release, so you won’t need to apply this manual change in the future.

    Hi @dev.touchpoint

    The Power Tools extension can't be installed because it's not compatible with the ARM version of Visual Studio.

    To fix the issue:

    • Install the regular x64 version of Visual Studio 2022 (not the ARM version).
    • Then try installing the Power Tools again.

    Alternatively, you can try editing the .vsix file manually to force compatibility, but using the x64 version is the safest and recommended solution.
