Can we please make the external code formatters respect the option we pick for the dotnet format as well.

We don't want the external code formatters changing all of our front end files (angular solution). It is generating over 600 file commits for us and we don't want to review or even accept most of the formatting that it does.

There is already an option to not run the dotnet format. Can you also either add another option for the front end formatters or just change the existing option to be more generic.

Hi @rickfrankel

Power Tools uses the prettier command from Angular when formatting the frontend. Here, you can configure the prettier settings to suit your project. Or, if you want to remove it completely, you can temporarily uninstall the prettier package from your project. I'm noting your suggestion; we'll make frontend code formatting optional in the next Power Tools version. Thank you.
