Is simple-line-icons actually used? #12687

Hi Team,

We have a dependabot alert about image-size which appears to come as a dependency of simple-line-icons.

I can't see any usage of this library but I could be wrong.

Could you please confirm if it's ok for us to remove the dependency on this library. It doesn't appear to have been updated in MANY years.

    Hi @rickfrankel

    Thank you for reporting this.

    We have checked the default Angular application and confirmed that simple-line-icons is no longer actively used. Therefore, it is safe to remove this dependency and regenerate the lock file.

    We have also created an internal issue to remove it from the template and will address this in an upcoming release.
