  You can access the result from the service call using the following code.

  _activitiesService.createOrEdit(activity)
    .done(function(result){
      // handle result from the service
    });
  

  You can follow #4608@48ad01a2-9501-4a6a-897e-7675b2040d4b to include Id in the result.
