Since Angular2 just recently went to beta, we thought we would try to move in that direction. Has any thought or effort been put into using Angular2 within Asp.Net Zero? We have been reading about ngUpgrade: <a class="postlink" href="http://blog.thoughtram.io/angular/2015/10/24/upgrading-apps-to-angular-2-using-ngupgrade.html">http://blog.thoughtram.io/angular/2015/ ... grade.html</a> Has anybody else tried to do anything like this?

I also read about ngUpgrade which seems good. I did not plan to upgrade AspNet Zero to Angular 2 yet. Because, upgrading to ASP.NET 5.0 has much more priority.

Hello!
Angular 2 (or React) seems much more important than Asp.Net 5.0 as it will be pretty hard to sell an Angular 1.X toolkit when Angular 2 and React are out there. We just purchased Asp.Net Zero but are not sure we're going ahead with it, as Angular 1.X is effectively a dead technology.
Would you mind updating me on your thinking on Angular 2 and/or React?

Hi,
Some may also think that current ASP.NET MVC is also dead (while I don't think that) because AspNet Core is in RC1. Angular1 is maintained and suggested for production by angular team still. I know, they are both important and they are our current road map's 2 highest priority items. But will start with ASP.NET Core, before Angular 2, that's all.

BTW, AspNet Zero (and ABP framework) not tightly coupled to angular 1, or even angular in general. You can use Angular2 or React now, but surely you must build UI layer yourself :) (while you can directly use Application and other layers as is).

It's hard to plan for a release date. Even, AspNet Core team can not provide yet :) We'll start in a week, first from ABP framework. We will work hard to finish before AspNet Core is released. I will update you if it will be clearer.
