We can't run the base project version 12.1.0 because of missing file common.props. Kindly check this version.

This file exists here https://github.com/aspnetzero/aspnet-zero-core/blob/rel-12.1/aspnet-core/common.props.
Could you share your projetc name (just to be sure) and which options did you select during the download ?
