Hi @bancentral,
Please be aware that there is a big differnece between abp.io and Zero. The version you will get does NOT contain the source code and will cost you an additional $3,000 plus $2,400 per year support if you wat to have the source code, therefore you will not be able to make changes as is the case with Zero.
Also, the functionality availble in abp.io is very limited at the moment, having about 20% of that in Zero. The only advantage I can see with abp.io is that Zero only has one full time developer and will probably be deprecated once the functionality in abp.io is on par with Zero.
Hope that helps (before someone censors these replies)
Are there any plans to develop a Blazor version to compliment the Angular and MVC versions?
Also, are there any plans to develop a Mobile Blazor version to compliment the Xamarin mobile app? (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mobile-blazor-bindings/)
If not, are there any users out there who would be interested in creating a Blazor version? or has anyone tried to add Blazor support to the exsiting MVC version?
In the ASP.Net Zero Core version there is a batch file called 'Delete-BIN-OBJ-Folders.bat' in the root of the solution - what is it used for? and should I run it?
Downloaded ASP.NET CORE MVC & JQuery version 6.0.0 using .Net Core 2.1 Framework, compiled and get the following warning:
Warning NU1701 Package 'Abp.Owin 3.8.3' was restored using '.NETPortable,Version=v0.0,Profile=Profile259, .NETFramework,Version=v4.6.1' instead of the project target framework '.NETCoreApp,Version=v2.1'. <cite>alper: </cite> is it the same as yours <a class="postlink" href="https://github.com/aspnetzero/aspnet-zero-core/issues/510">https://github.com/aspnetzero/aspnet-ze ... issues/510</a>
It does look the same but the reply says "You can send a PR for your language..." what is a PR? and if I knew what it was, who do I sent it to?
"or you can register to 'abp.dynamicScriptsInitialized' in one of your script files (include it after abp.sweet-alert.js) and use any localization source you like." - not sure what this means either? what do I register? is there any example code I could use?
Also it says "Since this is related to ABP framework, I'm closing it." - For me the underlying problem might lie within the ABP framework but this is directly related to my ASP.Net Zero system.
I can only assume it is something to do with us using a new xml language file for the UK. The standard English xml file is for the US.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Version is v5.3.0.0 [20180903]
Do you mean you will be releasing the calendar module in a few days? or version 5.1 in a few days?
I used Visual Studio Code. Just browse to the folder, right click and 'delete' each each file
