Download of v11.0.0 will always return Framework version 5.0 #10848

What is your product version? current v10.5.0 (Upgrading to v11.0.0)
What is your product type (Angular or MVC)? Angular
What is product framework type (.net framework or .net core)? Current .NET 5.0 (Upgrading to .NET 6.0)

When i download the update from the portal. I will get a not functioning download.

I can see that the .NET Framework is still set to .NET 5.0. Why is this not updated?

I had this same issue - so I entered same namespace but picked .NET 6.0 and downloaded - and I got a .net 6 download with updated files.

ah that seemed to have worked.

i didnt realise it wouldn't use new project download
