Hi, I have a case where the app may create a second even third background job that does the same thing. The job is created depending on a user action(bg job does a heavy calculation), and i dont want this heavy calculation performed many times since one will be enough. How can i prevent the extra jobs being created if one already exist?

Hi @uenlkr4e
Background job system doesn't have such a feature. You can set an item in cache and if it is set, you can prevent to start jobs other than the 1st one.
