Hi,
Do you mean an external url ? I think you can include an iframe inside your modal's html.
Please let us know if your case is different.

We use this library <a class="postlink" href="https://github.com/valor-software/ngx-bootstrap">https://github.com/valor-software/ngx-bootstrap</a> for bootsrap modals in angular2 version and I think id does not support what you want if I understand it correctly.
Instead, you can redirect to a new page just like we do for change language texts. In that case, you can view an url like "http:..../contact/edit/5"
