Periodic Exception generated by one of the built in timers. #4201

I have not subscribed to any events, and I am not using any timers.

When the site is sitting 100% idle, I get these errors in the log, without the API being called at all. I am not sure what changes I might have made to cause this. I can provide you with a copy of the solution privately.

This is an Angular 1 EF6 solution.

    EDIT: Exception is still there with latest nuget packages.

    I think I solved this myself. I simply updated all nuget packages that were out of date, and I am no longer getting this error. I will keep an eye on it.

    After a while, I start getting those exceptions again, even with latest nuget packages. The site seems to be working, but whatever is happening on these timer intervals surely has a purpose, and it is breaking currently. Also, the logs are being poluted by these exceptions. Please advise.

    Hi @BertusVanZyl,

    There is nothing wrong in that line. If you are not using background jobs, you can disable them, see <a class="postlink" href="https://aspnetboilerplate.com/Pages/Documents/Background-Jobs-And-Workers#disabling-job-execution">https://aspnetboilerplate.com/Pages/Doc ... -execution</a>.

    Then you will not have this error in your logs.

    The main error seems to be a database connection problem.

    It doesnt look like it... The exception is: System.OverflowException: Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.

    either way, I havent seen it in a while. If it comes back I will just post here again.
