I've tried deleting the node modules and reinstalling but have had no success.

Apologies I should have mentioned it was the Angular 2 and .NET Core project, I don't have that controller in the server project.

I am adding custom properties to a session with the process outlined on this page: <a class="postlink" href="https://gist.github.com/hikalkan/67469e05475c2d18cb88">https://gist.github.com/hikalkan/67469e05475c2d18cb88</a>, this worked fine on an .NET MVC 5.x project, however implementing it in the same fashion on a .NET Core project causes a null reference error with HttpContext when adding a new cookie to the authentication manager.
Is there another way of achieving custom session properties with the new .NET Core project? I need to be able to add them in the overridden TryAuthenticateAsync method in a custom authentication layer.

I am using an external API with this project and so have created a new application service to handle the client calls that need to be made to the external API. When running the project and the Swagger UI page opens it is blank with a 500 Internal Server Error on the request in the network tab of browser dev tools.
The code I am using is as follows (areas omitted as it is a private API), the code works in isolation, and also worked on an old version of ASP.NET Zero with ASP.NET MVC and Angular 1.

I have noticed that if I create a new HttpResponseMessage manually the Swagger UI works fine, but when obtaining the HttpResponseMessage from .NET's HttpClient.GetAsync method the error is occuring.
Can Swagger not handle generating the available API methods if there is an external call with HttpClient? If so is there any way to have the call in place and still have the project run correctly as I cannot run the refresh.bat in the client with Swagger broken.

I have tried npm install again, as well as deleting node modules and then reinstalling, but always get the same error. I have noticed a warning message after it has installed packages:
npm WARN [email protected] requires a peer of webpack@^2.1.0-beta.19 but none was installed.
I tried installing that package version, but went round in a circle as different packages required peers of different versions and it seemingly overwrote each version every time I installed one.
Any help is appreciated.
