I would like to extend feature properties, for example with Display Order and Image.

What am I missing. Its a simple use case for features, I want to order them and display something next to it in edition selections.

I'm with you. Better information on features and editions. We modified them to limit the number of devices registered with the system. If you want the code and procedure let me know.

Hi @vladsd, what errors are you getting? Could you share error details (*/App_Data/Logs/logs.txt)? Did you add mapping configuration for these entity and DTO classess to *.Application.CustomDtoMapper.cs?

There are already existing maps for features. They do not seems to work if you add new fields to classes.

FeatureMetadata doesn't map to DTO. Because FeatureMetadata is indexer of the Feature. If you want to access FeatureMetadata properties, you should write something like this: (alse there is an example of usage in TenantRegistrationAppService.cs)
(feature[FeatureMetadata.CustomFeatureKey] as FeatureMetadata).ImageOr you can use Attributes property of feature. Thanks, I used the attribute for image. It still not clear how to map it to the FlatFeatureSelectDto as automapping does not work. Should I do it manually for each attribute?

If you add following line to DTO, it should map automatically.

All I want is to add image property to feature which I can display on the client:) should be a simple task.

@vladsd you can try custom mapping for those values (I'm not sure if it is possible) or you can set this field on the server side after the mapping operation.

@ ismcagda thanks for suggestion, I found that doing for each loop and mapping by hand solves the issue. not elegant but working. in general please consider an easy way to add properties to features and have those properties appear on front end for display, like image, color, etc.

@vladsd that is something :). I know that there are some points which are not extendable but we are trying to make those better.
