Flying hamburger poor UI design #5859

Opening and closing the menu causes the hamburger to move, due to the icon appearing and pushing the hamburger over. Which means the user must find the hamburger and move the mouse each time they want to open or close the menubar. It would make more sense to keep the hamburger stationary and put the icon to the right of it, or to keep the icon permanently visible on the left. Anything to keep the hamburger from moving.

In general, changing the position of visual elments depending on the mode the app is in is IMHO a poor GUI.

    Hi @timmackey

It is the default design of Metronic and we don't have much control over it and we don't want to play with Metronic's original source code.

It was [not] like that in the v4.x of Metronic as far as I remember but I'm not sure why they did change it.

We will keep this design because it is Metronic's default behaviour. Thanks anyway for your suggestion.

Please consider forwarding the suggestion to Metronic. I assume ASPNETZERO is a customer of significance for Metronic, and therefore they may take your suggestion more seriously than someone who is not a customer. Thank you.

Currently we will stick with Metronic's default implementation.
