CCPA compliance #7784

ANZ has taken some steps for GDPR compliance, for which I (and I believe the ANZ community) am grateful for. CCPA is coming to the United States, and California in particular on January 1, 2020.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

Digital Guardian article

The "price" of non-compliance is my corporation cannot be located in California, nor can my company do business in California (a state with a GDP on par with France), or I must roll my own solution when my company grows to a certain size.

Of immediate concern are the system logs collected in App_Data folder.

Is ANZ compliant today? And if not now, when?

    Hi @timmackey

It is hard to say that AspNet Zero is compliant for California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). AspNet Zero itself doesn't collect personal data of the users. We just use First Name, Last Name, Email Address of the users. For those, users can download those data on their profile menu on top right corner of the page. You can also extend the data which can be downloaded per user by writing your own classes.

I tihnk, it would be better for you to get a legal consultancy about this.
