Ok, I know, I know that Blazor is basically in alpha, but it looks very interesting and it is moving fast ... EVERYTHING is moving fast. You guys must be watching this. What are you thinking a bit down the road? It might affect some of our decisions now.

For example if I was going to start a new project today, I might consider MVC since more code would be similar / reusable / portable to Blazor going forward.

There you have it. I have upset the apple cart, lol.

We are looking at Blazor too. No more horrid JS, yes please! I think they mentioned they would look at it once its out of alpha and probably gains more traction, though a lot of it would depend on Metronic I bet :/ unless they did a new theme and started using stock controls.

@BBakerMMC, I agree. I am really wondering if Blazor is the future. It just makes a lot of sense to me. I am very much not impressed with the JS.MESS, although it certainly does have its cool / appeal in some ways. Anyway, don't get me going! :)

What the world needs is an ASP.NET Zero Blazor version that is more easily upgradeable and maybe not so intertwined with Metronic.

Shoot for that and wow.... pretty cool stuff guys!

Great to hear Blazor is on your radar.

I love using C#, MVC etc but Javascript has always been a pain. When I first saw the Blazor demos I thought.... bingo!

Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing with us that you've at least had a look at it.

Just to chime in, there is no reason you would have to go with Metronic. If Blazor not on their radar, you can choose another library for Blazor, such as Syncfusion, Telerik or DevExpress. Sure, there are licensing concerns and added cost, but just something to keep in mind.

Switching to any of the three controls would not solve any problems, just have the same limitations to work around: no excel import ability. To do this in angular, have to use one of the excel parsers and code yourself. One day they will all have this feature.
